Enabling organizations to adopt and maximize the benefits of secure, ethical and robust AI
Cofomo, an industry leader in digital transformation and consulting services, today announced the launch of its new Centre of Excellence (CoE) for artificial intelligence (AI). In addition to offering in-depth expertise for the development, the integration and the deployment of AI, this CoE offers tools and guidance for secure, ethical integration and governance, for organizations to maximize opportunities while navigating the challenges of its integration.
Artificial intelligence has become a crucial lever for organizational growth, but its operational integration poses major difficulties. Organizations are facing multiple challenges as they attempt to reap its benefits. “The accelerating pace of AI development, the vast amounts of data being generated, and the evolving complexity surrounding regulation and compliance made it a priority for us to establish an AI Centre of Excellence, and offer a proactive and comprehensive support to clients,” said Yohan Plourde, Vice President, Digital Transformation at Cofomo.
Creating a knowledge hub to support organizations with all their AI needs
This new CoE encompasses the latest knowledge to proactively respond to the needs of clients. Cofomo experts provide end-to-end support from the proof-of-concept stage through the orchestration of projects. “Our ultimate goal is to take the complexity out of AI projects so that our clients can make the most of this evolving technology,” concluded Yohan Plourde.
The AI Centre of Excellence ensures Cofomo remains at the forefront of the latest AI standards and guidelines, complies with international AI standards, and goes on developing ethical and responsible AI applications for clients.

Ali Amine is a cloud architect and a computer engineer. He also holds a master’s degree in computer systems security, and several recognized AI certifications.
“Ali Amine has made a name for himself as a passionate and accomplished AI expert, and we are proud to have him leading this Centre of Excellence,” said Lyne Lazure, President and Chief Operating Officer at Cofomo. “His appointment to the Standard’s Council of Canada’s Artificial Intelligence Committee is a testament to his in-depth expertise in this intricate and ever-evolving field and will help Cofomo remain at the leading edge in all matters surrounding best practices, policies and guidelines for the responsible use of AI by our team.”
